LMD Series Fiber Laser Marking Machine

Overview

Product overview

The LMD Series is a floor-standing fiber laser marking machine offered in three power ratings — 20W, 30W and 50W — built on an integrated work table with a marking range from 110×110 mm to 300×300 mm depending on the lens, a marking speed of at least 7000 mm/s and EZCAD control software. It is designed as a stand-alone marking station for metal parts that are loaded by hand.

Because the machine is a floor-standing workstation rather than a bench unit, the work table, the marking head on its column and the control cabinet are one assembly with levelling feet, which keeps the marking plane stable when operators load and unload parts all day.

The LMD Series is suitable for permanent marking on all types of metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass. It is normally used for part numbers, serial numbers, batch codes and logos that have to remain readable for the whole service life of the component.

Marking is a non-contact process, so the marking head never touches the part and no consumable is used per mark. The minimum character is 0.15 × 0.15 mm, the marking width is 0.01 mm and the focus diameter is below 0.01 mm, which keeps fine text and small data codes sharp even on small components.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which models and power ratings does the LMD Series include?

Three power ratings: 20W, 30W and 50W. They share the same floor-standing workstation, the same five lens options and EZCAD software, and run on 380V 50/60Hz.

How is the LMD Series different from a bench-top marking machine?

It is built as a floor-standing workstation with an integrated work table, so the marking head, work surface and control cabinet form one stable assembly with levelling feet, and parts are loaded by hand on the table.

What marking area can I get?

The marking range depends on the lens: 110×110 mm, 150×150 mm, 175×175 mm, 200×200 mm or 300×300 mm. Lenses are interchangeable on all three models.

How fast and how accurate is the marking?

Marking speed is at least 7000 mm/s with 0.002 mm repeat positioning accuracy. Minimum character is 0.15 × 0.15 mm, marking width 0.01 mm and focus diameter below 0.01 mm. Marking depth is not stated in the catalogue and depends on material, power and settings.

Which materials can it mark?

The LMD Series is suitable for permanent marking on all types of metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass.

What are the power supply and operating conditions?

A 380V 50/60Hz supply and an operating temperature range of 15℃ to 35℃, with a standard rotary axis, a red dot pointer and EZCAD software; an optional work platform (Workwear Platform) is available.

Reviews

What Customers Say

  • We run this machine two shifts a day on stainless and carbon steel. Piercing speed and the auto-focus head cut our setup time noticeably.

Miguel R. Metal Fabrication · Mexico

  • Delivery was on schedule and the sea-worthy packing arrived intact. Cutting quality on 3 mm stainless is clean enough to skip secondary finishing.

Ahmed S. Sheet Metal Workshop · UAE

  • The exchange table keeps cutting while we load the next sheet, so output per shift went up without adding operators.

Dmitry K. Steel Structures · Russia

  • Support replied in Portuguese during commissioning. The 3 kW source has plenty of headroom for our 6 mm aluminum parts.
