The T Series is a fiber laser tube cutting machine with a wide rotating chuck, available in three chuck sizes: φ20-φ240 mm, φ20-φ360 mm and φ20-φ560 mm. Fiber laser power runs from 1500W to 20000W, tube feeding length is 6000 mm, and the Weihong and FSCUT control systems drive the machine with 0.05 mm position accuracy and 0.03 mm reposition accuracy on the X and Y axes. The W axis rotates the tube at up to 80 r/min, so large round, square, rectangular and oval sections are cut in one setup on a machine that reaches the biggest tube diameters in the range.

The machine is built for tube rather than plate: round tubes, square tubes, rectangular tubes and oval tubes in carbon steel and stainless steel. With a chuck that opens to φ560 mm, the series covers large-section tube and pipe that a standard tube cutter cannot take, while the rotating W axis performs mitres, holes and end cuts with the workpiece clamped once.

The maximum blanking length of the tube is 1500 mm or 3500 mm depending on the configuration, and a single tube can weigh up to 30 kg per metre. Tell us the outside diameter, wall thickness and cut lengths you work with and we will confirm which chuck size fits, together with the loading system for your volume.
The three chuck sizes share the same cutting platform, control system and accuracy figures; only the chuck size changes, and the largest covers the biggest tube diameter in the range. Loading can be specified as a semi-automatic or a fully automatic system, so the machine can be matched to anything from job-shop work to a line that runs tube continuously.
